Classic Cars feature at the Harringworth Summer Fete on Saturday 20 June

If you are looking for a quintessential Village Fete you need look no further than Harringworth on Saturday 20 June. The popular annual event in this pretty Welland Valley conservation village attracts visitors from a wide area and offers a variety of attractions and activities for all the family including a display of Classic Cars for the first time this year.

The Gretton Silver BandThe Gretton Silver Band has been booked for the afternoon and Home-Made Afternoon Teas, Pimms, Ice Creams and a BBQ and will ensure that there is something for all the Family.

Visitors can also take part in the Tombola, Raffle, a variety of games and activities including Spin and Win, Coconut Shy, Treasure Hunt and White Elephant.

The keen gardeners in the village are busy growing and dividing plants for the Plant Stall and volunteers will be baking cakes, scones and preserves for the day. Harringworth’s very own Home-made Elderflower Cordial will be served alongside Pimms in the beautiful Manor Gardens.

Classic carsAn additional feature this year is a Classic Car display in Percy’s Barn Car Park opposite the White Swan Pub featuring a selection of cars from the local area including an Austin Healey, MGC and an MG TF1500 which has recently been restored.
