FLYING SCOTSMAN: Excitement is building for the Flying Scotsman Steaming over the Welland Viaduct around 10.00 am on Saturday 29 June.  Harringworth Village is preparing for visitors by providing free parking (off Seaton Road NN17 3AF) to avoid unsafe roadside parking and a couple of vantage points a short walk away.  Refreshments available in aid of Harringworth Appeals Fund.
FAMILY AND ELITE CYCLE RIDE: After the Flying Scotsman you can join either the Family ‘Eye Spy’ Cycle Ride through the Welland Valley or the elite Harringworth Fete Velo which tours the local area.  Each ride ends at the Fete (with free ice cream for Children).  Both events start at our wonderful ‘Spokes’ Cafe and pre-registration is essential – Click here to read more and register.
ST JOHN THE BAPTIST CHURCH EXHIBITION.  After seeing the Flying Scotsman you can wander down to see an Exhibition in the Church which will highlight some of the wonderful history of the Church and a look at what the Church offers our local communities today.
