Over 600 people attended the annual Harringworth village Fete held in the grounds of the historic Manor House on Saturday 21st June. The Gretton Silver Band performed to the bumper crowds, and nearly 40 volunteers from the village provided cream teas, a barbeque and ice creams as well as traditional fete games and stalls.

Guess the weightThe village pub, The White Swan kindly sponsored the delicious carrot cake used in the Guess the Weight Cake, which was won by Marie Hems.

More cars than ever turned out for the successful car boot sale held alongside the fete.

The event raised nearly £3,000 for the Harringworth Appeals Fund.
