Welcome to the church of St John the Baptist, Harringworth. We welcome visitors to all our services and the church is open every day.
Harringworth is one of seven Parishes that form the Lyddington Benefice under the Reverend Canon Jane Baxter and her team. Each month all households get a copy of the Newsletter so they are kept in touch with their own village and the Benefice.
The magazine has reports from the Benefice and local Diocese, details of Church Services and news and ‘What’s On from each of the villages of Bisbrooke, Caldecott, Glaston, Harringworth, Lyddington, Seaton, Stoke Dry and Thorpe by Water. The advertising included provides information about local businesses and services and at the same time helps to fund the production of the magazine.
Each month the Benefice Newsletter has details of the Services for the following two months; they are also posted on the Church Noticeboard and online on ‘A Church Near You‘ website.
Please note that there is a Hearing Loop installed as part of the sound system in the church. If required, we recommend you ask ahead of a service, as it is not always turned on.
